—————– Eye Tutorial ——————
First Tutorial blog entry on my tumblr for an assignment!
I was requested a couple times to show how I drew my lazy chibi style.
This was a style I used a couple years ago and never really brushed up on it.
SO HERE YOU GO! A very simple tutorial about how I sketch and colour my lazy style eyes.

Explanation:

① Start off with a sketch of what you’re going for. My eyes are usually quite blocky and have huge lashes and/or often show some eyelids.
② Go over your sketch with a black or coloured pen and clean it up.
③ Fill the eye completely with black or whichever colour you used previously.
④ Make a gradient starting from bottom to top of your desired eye colour.
⑤ Grab the ideal eye colour and make a large circle at the bottom of the eye.
⑥ Make the pupil in whatever colour you desire and add light and details.
⑦ Draw across the upper eyelid in order to make a shadow and bring down the layers transparency until it’s just about right.
⑧ This is optional, but I tend to overlay the entire eye with some dash of colour that I used for the blob in step 5. Sometimes I’ll add a ton of sparkles or some random splotches of colours to add variety.

AND VOILA! You are done!
