Description
For one of my final illustrations in class I pulled out my Anubis line art and colored him in the style that my Professors reacted best to during my Junior Review. This will be the direction my work in class will be going in for my "Senior Show." I didn't realize that something I considered a personal and "fast" way of digital coloring could turn out to be the key to satisfying my Professors, lol.

The photo used in the bg is one of my own taken at the British Museum. The texture, on the other hand, is courtesy of `hibbary and her paper textures.

Completely stunning and very scary. It puts me in mind of the god just rising from a flash of light, ready to protect the tomb from looters. I'd run away.

oooh, I love the attention to detail on this, the folds in the fabric turned out really nice as well. I can never seem to pull that off XD
What a coincidence, I just finished an Anubis as a present for a friend and a couple other people I know have just drawn him as well. I'm seeing him more than usual as of late X3
