“You didn’t make it easy,” Rin said, drawing her sword, she’d cut down countless threats to get here, destruction followed Hitomi everywhere.
“I had every faith you would make it and besides I wanted to see what you would do,” Hitomi grinned, “you did not disappoint.”
“You’re testing me?”
“I’ve sensed a great power within you, you’ve been put on this world as its protector but I’m giving you the opportunity to be something greater,”
Rin blinked and in that time, Hitomi had already leapt at her.
