Glitter tutorial for Amanda-KulpThis is how I make glitter in my artworks. You can also try playing with the sliders, opacities, colors and blending options too. You can use it for make-up and stars! The possibilities are endless! ^^
I used Photoshop, but I'm sure it's possible to get the same effect with another program too. I hope it's helpful.

Sorry I didn't get back to you last night I did end up working with your tutorial last night. I used it to update my Snarfblatt piece. I added a slight glitter in her hair and some sparkle around the pipe/snarfblatt that is in Ariel's hand. I am happy with the results and even happier I know how to add sparkle to my subjects hair. Thank you. Unfortunately, with the size deviation I submitted it's a little difficult for viewers to see in her hair. Thanks again for the help. ☺️

I'm glad you found it useful. It's a simple technique, but it saves you from having to run around after glitter stocks!

Well gosh! Thank you for the kind words. Masterpiece is definitely an overstatement but I worked really hard on that piece and I am happy with the results. I am glad to know you enjoy it as well. I love Thomas Kinkade and actually took one of his pieces for inspiration on my piece. I really wanted to get the colors and feel from his piece. (It's just not near on the professional and quality level as his is, lol.)
