where do i even start with this one!?ok so first, this was SOOO hard for me to draw, just so much going on, and so many strange angles and aspects, idk it was hard for me. if you want a challenge, draw this guy. next i do not like him. lol drawing him probably just made me hate him more, but yeah the design is strange and just ugly.

I like the design of Turtonator, i like the monster-like pokΓ©mon, however i find weird that they just used the Matamata design for the shape but would be understatable to don't make it like the real animal and give it more fictional things. The idea of the explosive shell is pretty....interesing, weird but interesing and original but no like the best idea ever, however has certain merit for the originality.
About the head i can't complain, i think the snout resembles the soft shelled turtle, and maybe the part of the shell too, I mean, maybe is really soft so that's why it uses explosive materials, because is so soft to give a good protection alone. Also i like that they used concepts of two aquatic turtles and turned them into a fire pokΓ©mon without doing something bland

i'm actually liking it more and more personally. i mean, it's a turtle based on this: en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mata_mat⦠and i like that it's a trap pokemon, just sits and waits for prey. it's also kind of neat to have it be a mine like pokemon, since it sets off when something walks over it. not to mention a Fire/Dragon that's not legendary or Mega, it will be used hopefully more than Charizard XD
