And this is how I end my Inktober this year. It has been a real challenge for myself, experimenting with china ink and brushes. It has been so long since the last time I touched brushes, but I am glad I did it again. It's so fun and pleasing to do while you see your drawing take life so quickly and with such emotion. This is not something I usually experiment with digital art or other traditional methods.

It was also very interesting to explore darker themes for this year since, this far, I did more lightly themed and more joyful arts. Also, playing only with grays. It was fun. A little more sinister, and also more personal. This is something I would definitely do again, but I wish to be in other conditions next year. My work always had more hours in surprise for me, so it was kinda hard to manage work, family duties and arts. Heck, I haven't got time to do much else beside Inktober so I can't wait to do something else (I already did some doodle in fact just for the fun of it).

Now, for the more serious part. I wanted to explore darker themes. In part because October is a spooky month, and also because I wanted to share a more darker side of the characters and myself. It was a little more personal in some way, but I am glad I did. I don't know if you even read all of the description I did. They were, sometime, interesting to do. Sometime, they were harder to do. But I did them all. With my heart and those of my characters. Many of them grew with me. Many of them share parts of me. Many of them may share parts of you. Another reason I guess I did my Inktober that way this year.

I know life isn't easy. I know we all have our share of troubles. Our share of haunting. Our share of memories. Our share of regrets. I could go on like that. To simplify ; we all have our dark side. Often, we will hide it and carry the burden with us, thinking we are alone. We are never alone. In any case. You just have to find the right shoulder to support you. And those right person are hard to find, but I can promise they are formidable person. They will be there for you. They will laugh with you. Cry with you. Share advice. They will be a part of your life. But you must not think that you are alone.

Even if you find it easy to focus on the negative part, you must always think about the best in you. Not an easy feat, but, when you'll do, you'll feel great. You will remember your worth. I know each person has is worth. Think of your strength. Think of what makes you unique. Think of what you do amazingly. You are there for those wonderful things you are. You are there to share it. Even if there is some evil haunting you. This evil is there exactly to haunt you, but when you learn to grow from it and be a better person from it, this evil will hardly be able to hurt you.

I never have been very good with that kind of thing. That kind of speech. But I really hope you understand the meaning of it or at least the message I want to convey.

Maybe I hope you will appreciate more the best in my characters and even those around you. We never know what happened to them. Maybe you will never learn about it. But that doesn't stop you to learn about their best.
