Blake is the token angsty outcast with crazy fighting skills of the Rooster Teeth series RWBY. She has a sketchy past but is now fighting for equality, and yes that sounds like a cheesy movie trailer line but it is interesting.This is in a series of RWBY Pictures. Here are the links to the rest.

I started this series of RWBY characters to push myself to draw women, which I rarely do, and to finish them digitally, which I usually get to do. Sadly I was given more incentive to complete the series with the passing of Monty Oum, the creator, who died last month at the age of 33.
Blake's weapon, the Gambol Shroud, was difficult not because of design but because I am not really sure what it is. Posing it as a sword is kind of what I went with, but its also like an assault rifle and sort of a kama, so I tried some sketches with her in different poses, but this worked the best.

Constructive critique here, so don't take anything as an insult.
You need to work a bit more on your female body shapes. Here entire upper body is WAY out of proportion from her lower body. The lines on her face are way too sharp and masculine.
All in all, your shading and coloring are pretty good, you just need to work on your anatomy. I seriously suggest you practice by tracing pictures of anime characters until you have a basic understanding of proportions.
