Description
The main character of the Rooster Teeth series RWBY. She is the leader, but is still fairly naive with room to learn and grow.This is the first in a series of the RWBY team. Here are the links to the rest.

I started this series of RWBY characters to push myself to draw women, which I rarely do, and to finish them digitally, which I usually get to do. Sadly I was given more incentive to complete the series with the passing of Monty Oum, the creator, who died last month at the age of 33.
Ruby's Crescent Rose was the biggest curve for me, as I am use to building shapes with lots of organic pencil lines not sharp exact lines. I built this weapon with knowledge learned from my 2D computer illustration class for vector shapes.
If you are an anime fan, this series is a definite must see and is all available on Chrunchyroll and Netflix.

All constructive criticism here, but there are a few things I notice. The elephant in the room is the proportions. Her right hand is overtly larger than her left hand, and her legs should be about twice as long as they are currently with the size of her body. Some of the "stylistic" choices detract a bit away from Ruby as a character. The lipstick for example: It's a bit much for someone like Ruby, who is essentially a kid who is just beginning to find her place in the world. She's also a bit of a tomboy.
All in all, it gives a vibe of someone cosplaying. They're really good at making the costume, but they don't exactly have the right body type or style to cosplay her effectively.
