Here is my take on Voltron's leader to celebrate the new Netflix series premiering tomorrow.

I drew Keith just because I like his hair the best out of the team. On this picture I tested out our new alcohol markers (off brand copics), and touched it up with homemade watercolors, colored pencils, ink, pencil. After scanning it in I did cut out some of the misnamed "non photo" blue pencils marks in the face and in the white.

I feel a little poser-ish, as I am excited for the new series as a fan of the team behind it, but I not very versed in OG Voltron. I have tried to watch some to get caught up, but its clearly American 80s dub is a bit jarring. The Peter Cullen Intro is still awesome though!

This coincides with 's Shiro

In addition to trying to watch some of the OG Voltron I am jamming out to the grindcore band, Voltron which utilizes sound-bytes from the show with a crazy drum machine and squeal vocals (with way too much distorts). voltronn.bandcamp.com/ **… : Music is loud and high pitched, some vulgar lyrics/titles**
