I often see people struggeling with details of their fursuit-craftings, and even wonderful finished suits with details that in my eyes ruin or lower the visual effect. Therefore I want to write down some of these details, and how to improve them.This is only my opinion! I know that the other techniques I don't like often have reasons why they are used. I prefer a good look instead of better movement and durability, and rather like to think of ways that look good AND are flexible and dureable.

Btw you don't have to walk on tiptoes all the way, it is enoough to balance on the front of your feet. Heels don't have to be raised so high as in the picture ^^

I bought a pair of feet paws built on heelless high heel, and sadly had to give them up because I could not balance in them.Β

Oh lord High heels? I would have broken my ankles.
If I was to do the heels feet paws, I think I would try aΒ 1Β½β heel. They seem like it would be high enough to try this tiptoe idea and still comfortable.
