Description
This is a tutorial on how I made my head for my fursuit. I made this to help you all out. So I hope you enjoy it. I you have any questions I will post them here and answer them.F.a.q.
What is it made of?
That green foam that is 1 inch thick. You can get it at most craft and fabric stores.
Time taken :14 and a half hours.

Not to offend anyone or anything within those lines, but I personally believe this could end up in the uncanny valley. Shit's freaky.

Heads like these almost always look creepy at this stage. Regardless of the style used too. Once the fur and eye detailing is on, they look far less creepy. It's for the same reason that a dogs skull doesn't look like a dogs face: You pay more attention to the curvature of the skull, and more to the colors on the face.
It's actualy kinda fascinating if you ask me.

may i help you? when making the head, take a mannequin head and make a full hood for it, then build the foam on it^^

but mannequin heads are poorly sized, so make sure to scale it up a bit when you make it

Nicely done. I created a furhead at a point earlier this year, which was a black fox head. For my inner structure I used chicken fence mesh, covered in spray-foam.

There are many ways to do eyes.
