"I heard it's your birthday and you know what that means, we're gonna have a big PARTY with all your friends and there's gonna music and streamers and balloons and punch and dancing and ..." [insert random Pinkie Pie rambling here]Man, Pinkie Pie is too damn cute. I regret nothing. I was pleasantly surprised at how this turned out, but finding a category for it took a while.
My favorite frame is the third one, which incidentally is also the preview image. I can't stop giggling like an idiot. I can almost hear the bouncing sound. All of the animations in the newest Desktop Ponies release only reinforce my belief that Pinkie is the cutest and most adorable of the bunch.

You did a fantastic job making the purple party pony spring to life. Pinkie's base form looks great in each panel and it plays very perky and sweet. Mane and tail follow behind, legs and neck bend well (especially the big stretch on the way down), and I really love the blink in mid-air because it looks natural and keeps "something happening" for that moment she's suspended — well, something obvious at least, since her mane and tail were still moving a little.
If you had a higher frame rate then I'd suggest having her mane and tail start springing up well before she starts to fall again. There are four duplicated panels where that may have been possible, but I'm guessing the program you use did that for timing instead of changing frame duration.
No matter what, it's a fun and very happy bit of true Pinkie Pie fun.

Yeah, those duplicated were for timing purposes. I never intended this to be as good or complex as you suggest it could be. Just something cool for 's birthday. I had almost no hand in the reception and promotion it got from everyone.

Just regular, old printing paper you can buy in a stack of 1000. I got the rather clean, white background with the magic wand tool in Photoshop. My scanner tends to leave some stains on my drawings that I have to clean up afterwards.

I don't think I'd be a good source for OC ponies, since the most distinguishing aspect of them are their colors with exceptions like Lunafyre. And I usually don't do colors. I'm guessing you want a unique design that you can't find in an oc pony creator? I mean I could try, but I'm actually pretty bad at designing things, so if I were to do this I'd rather you send me some design ideas along with it.

Well I have been drawing traditionally since I was 14, digitally since I was 18. That's why I would like to try animation now so that I have some level of skill in a few years.

The crew of this show does and AMAZING job with Flash, but it certainly would be nice to see it in traditional animation as well, even if it took longer...ah well.
Also, you may want to change the category to 'Traditional>Animations>Pencil Tests', as it's clearly not 'digital art'.
