And second dump.This was my character for . Unfortunately I didn't get very far because I got busy around the deadlines and ended up missing them. So I'm not in the tournament, but I still enjoy talking to the peeps there.
Now these sketches range from a few months old to just finishing it a couple days ago. Just random doodles and whatnot.
I have this weird thing where I don't like showing off my own characters too much so I just stockpile artwork.
But yes, a few sketches of my character Raine and a couple of her best friend Solana.
And the bottom few are the ideas I had for Raine and Solana's New Years dresses.
And now I'm rambling. As always I hope you enjoy. :3

As far as design for Raine (for the possible future and for curiosity), is there a certain country or style you base her clothes off of?

Hmmm.
Nothing that comes to mind. The first dress I didn't have any idea about her culture and was just trying to get back into designing outfits again, and the second dress came out of some world building. But essentially given that they live underground it'd be a bit cooler there than if they lived on the surface, so I just kind of see them as dressing in layers or at least being very covering and draping. Along with that they'd use very textured fabrics with designs. Other than that I don't have much. Sorry.
