Description
Part deviation. Part journal.As part of the new year celebration I am somehow managing to play my new Wii...have more than a few drinks...and draw a pic of the hero.
A word of advice...
Don't drink and draw.

Have always a cup of coffee next to you when drawing, yet away from the watercolors and ink. It will spoil the flavor

This is excellent! The black and white give it a more ancient, fantasy feeling. The shading is almost perfect. My one complaint is the left "wing" of the Master Sword is a little too dark, which makes it blend in with the tree, making it practicly invisible.
I like that he's holding the sword in his left hand. Little known fact, Link is one of the few left handed video game characters. Ganandorf is right handed.

They happen to make the pose for me. It all starts with the face. If the face isn't right for me, I don't continue with the body.

Wow, I love the shading on this one, especially on the tree! And the leaves surrounding his steps are a great touch; the folds in his clothes are so well done too. I find that it's always important to view your pictures closely for details, since you have the habit of adding them in, and they're worth catching. Bravo, sir! Bravo!

I just never beat Zelda 2, mostly from how different it is in style from 1. So I'm trying to one-up my cousin's husband. He just beat the Master Quest on 1. But yeah, definitely fun to go retro for a while.
