Description
After waiting nearly fifteen years, I finally get my wish of having Samus Aran, in action figure form (incidentally, this'll probably be the only Figma I'll ever own). And only a mere five days after I paid for my preorder, too!Also pictured is one of my Molgas, whose colour scheme was inspired by my favourite space bounty hunter.

I didn't know either until I saw pictures of it on Tumblr (if you don't already have a Tumblr, you should get one!); I've found it useful for finding awesome surprises such as that Figma. There's a Link Figma up on preorder as well!

i dont know whats worse that i knew thats a molga or that a squealed because its a combination of my 2 favorite things. zoids and samus....i wonder what zoid she would pilot

I've another picture of my Molga in my gallery; its missiles are appropriately painted as well.
As for what Zoid Samus Aran would pilot, I thought that Molga would be the perfect choice (powered cannon + missiles, plus overall shape), although I would go for anything that's fast/agile, as well as having a cannon (preferably one of the charging type, such as Geno Saurer/Breaker, Berserk FΓΌhrer or Gairyuki) and/or missiles (KΓΆnig Wolf with its CPs or Liger Zero Panzer)

knowing her itd probably end up a custom one. perhaps a zeekdober or houndsoldier? or one of the ice metal ones? (ice metal is impossible to make in zoids canon since the continent it was on got destroyed)

I dunno; blades doesn't seem to be a Samus Aran thing. I just realised: one of the claws on Raven's Genosaurer in the Chaotic Century series had a grappling option, which also works with Samus Aran's gear.

did houndsoldier have blades? i thought it just had a ton of guns on it lol.
well the ice metal thing is still open since the majority of them are ranged some even have black hole cannons basically.

Houndsoldier had a pair of javelins/spears that were used to impale enemy zoids when Houndsoldier charged at them. The only Ice Metal Zoids I remember were the Ice Blazer (an upgraded Zeek Dober, so it had "Ice Armour", and the blades anyway) and the Gungyarados (which flew).
So, I still think the Zoids most suited to Samus Aran in terms of functionality and weaponry are Molga (with CP-07), KΓΆnig Wolf (even though its 'cannon' is bullet-based) and Genosaurer (despite the lack of missiles). Oh, wait. Gun Sniper has a cannon and missiles as well!

actually snipe master and gunsniper would be a perfect modern-ish zoid for her especially with all the customizations it can handle(leena)
descat has bassically a black hole cannon and a barreled impact cannon its an ice metal zoids that can go 420 km/h :l and this is a really old zoid timeline wise. it even contained a super high speed drive.
btw guess what i came home to today? bits and peices of 5 zoids scattered across the ground. i dont think i can repeair these im also missing the majority of teh caps now

I preordered it from [link] (they accept PayPal, and do international shipping), and only paid 4,500yen (about AUD$56, slightly more in US$) for the figure + shipping. Sadly, though, they're already sold out, and you'd be lucky to pay anything less than $110 at the moment. Maybe Nintendo'll release/license a(nother) Samus Aran figure of some sort outside of Japan...?

Tilly, you wouldn't believe how long I'd been waiting to finally take a photo for this! Pity the Figma didn't come with missiles, otherwise I would have opened up the Molga's back pod to show off the missiles as well!
