Another Maria one
My sweater looks red, but it is more of a burgundy IRL; I was going for the in-game sweater coloring. Though I love those plants behind me, this one was actually just a lighting/costume test. Sadly it ended up being one of the ones I am uploading because I didn't get too many shots of the outfit...for now at least. The title comes from how ghostly white my midsection came out in this shot.Costume, prop, and wig done by myself & the picture is thanks to my boyfriend!
noticed that the background reminded her of Rosewater Park, and I have to say that I agree! The brick is a bit reminiscent of it, so I'm really happy to be able to place this into a scene from the game.

I agree that I don't really have the same skin that they gave her. At the same time, she definitely looks mature, but I wouldn't say she looked all that old.

Whoa! You photo "I don't look like a ghost do I" makes you look scary. When you carry that weapon (I forgot its name), it feels like you are going to murder someone for some reason. Anyways, you look fantastic in that awesome photo.

I just took note of what you said, and yeah, it does like alot like Rosewater park! That's so cool!^^ A+ for effort and performance, in my eyes! ;D
If you'd still like to do a local shoot for SH1, there's no trouble with using our real kitchen knife for Harry in some shots, if you'd like to go for some realism, that is.

Many thanks! The wig is a New Look brand, the style is the "Linda." The color is ash blond, I think it is like 22 maybe? I got it from internationalwigs and used a $10 coupon on it (New Look wigs can get kind of expensive for what they are IMO).
I dyed the roots/tips via the sharpie method, so it's gradient-i-fied to make it look more natural. People who cosplay this character usually pick flat wigs, or bobs so I wanted to make sure I got some body hence why I chose a wig longer than I actually needed (though it killed me to hack off those beautiful locks!) Well I tried anyway, wigs soooo aren't my thing lol, least favorite part of costumes by far ;__;~

The wig was actually a long wig cut, and then my mom used some wefted extensions to create the bun

whoops, I should have not mentioned the bun xD But I'm looking for a wig that has a high ponytail, I tried doing a high ponytail once and it was so messy x.x But I think adding wefts would help.

I always have a hard time trying to figure out which Silent Hill is my favorite but I do know that Maria was awesome arm candy and that protecting her from pyramid head was no easy task. Your SH cosplays are pretty dead on accurate!

I have a hard time deciding between 2, 3, and the Room. Homecoming had some great feel but I didn't have the "fear" that the others instilled =/ I wish they'd hurry up and make another one. -.-

My goodness you are ghostly white *_* but I might be whiter, we will seeee. No matter how much I try to tan, I end up like crispy, damn my Irish complexion! As usual, wonderful outfit and I love the backdrop, kind of reminds me of the walls in Rosewater Park, I wonder if that was the intention? You really do look like Maria, it's a uncanny resemblance.

Hehe I really am! The lighting/camera washed out my midection, and I couldn't fix that when I edited it so I decided to have this be the picture with the "ghost" title
Same here, tanning for me results in a nasty sunburn that just goes red then goes away, I am never left with a tan!
Thank you!!! I'm so glad you think so. This was my first and only makeup success that I've had for a character where I did my own makeup, which is a relief for me because I never feel like I improve my skills, I just stay the same... I have never even worn lipstick before, or at least not to this extent (I have a lot on lol, much more than my actual lip size). I actually was thinking it looked similar to Rosewater Park, I shall add that in the description since you noticed it too
