Description
Request from ~VacuumNinjaExperimenting with a rotating sphere.
Available in 2 sizes: The big original one and a small one implanted into an interface with 2 number strings displaying X/Y position (for now it's just eye-candy).
IF YOU CAN FIND A SIMILAR .GIF OR VIDEOCLIP CONTAINING A ROTATING EARTH / PREFERABLY WIRE-FRAME STYLE, PLEASE TELL ME!!!

Logo suggestions matching the theme, especially rotating logos of federal agencies like FBI/CIA/NSA or fictional logos (e.g. COD) are very welcome.
If you have a logo request I can convert it into a transparent multi-png so it can be used with Rainmeter.

I spent my last night in studing Rainmeter. I was happy and excited to see my active desktop. After a lot of exercises, I learn to use each and every skin in diffrent backgrouds. One of the rotation object struck me and i thought an idea of rotation some other logo/ 3d image same as cool future_GDI logo_logo small. Can any one help me explain me how this rotating logo is created.

im looking through the code and i dont understand how it reads the png file.
the png is all in one pic so how does it read it over a period of time?

Concerning your question about Rainmeter's way of displaying animation... It's dividing the .png into
Measure=CALC
Formula=Counter % 20
pieces, so it can display each part in
BitmapFrames=20
in the actual meter.
This is slightly more CPU intensive than the other version, which is count from one to a given number and open each frame from a specific directory. You basically have a folder called "frames", name each frame "1.png", "2.png" etc and let the counter open the directory path + the variable from the counter, which in this case would be 1 to 20. The update rate determines the counter speed, i.e. the framerate.
No matter what method you use, trying to display animations in Rainmeter is a pain in the ass and will eat up a lot of CPU.

Yeah I was thinking about that too.
Unfortunately the resolution is way too small and the frame-rate isn't the best. I was unable to find a better version tho (except the large version with even worse fps [link] ). If you can find one, I'll definitely make it into a transparent multi-png and upload it on DA.

This is really nice!
unfortunately the big orb is a massive cpu hog... it uses over 50% of my 3.6ghz e8400 cpu. the small one works just fine.
