Description
Art of Adenydd ferch Iared, a character from 's story the Rhyddion Chronicles. I hope I managed to capture her--I think her expression might be a bit too knowing.Inspired by Celtic Manuscripts.
Forgive the blur, watercolor paper+tiny drawing=not friends with scanners.
The letter behind her is an A, and until I had finished I didn't realize the implication I'd made by coloring it red. WHOOPS. Totally doesn't sync up with the flowers I used. (I hope they describe her fairly well--she's only passing involved in the story so far as I read....)
Flowers, or what flowers they're supposed to be:
Lily - Purity
Sweet Alyssum - Worth Beyond Beauty
Bluebottle - Delicacy
Clematis - Mental Beauty
Daisy - Innocence
Jasmin - Amiability, Grace and Innocence, and (in the case of the ones I drew) Separation
Larkspur - Lightness, Levity
