That's really cool. The way the textures are drawn on the wyrms reminds me of the ALIEN movie. It looks natural, yet unnatural at the same time. Great job.

Giger's designs for the ALIEN are permanently ingrained into the concept artists of my generation. We can't help it.

The trick is to embrace random, stream-of-consciousness marks and then making those marks coherent at the end of the process.

I love the way each one has its own expression on its face, it makes them look intelligent enough to be really dangerous!

I have to be honest: if I remember correctly (and it has been quite a while), I was attempting to make the "facial" structures very nearly the same in all three creatures. Evidently I failed.

That said, the thought of filthy, born-blind worm-gods with facial expressions is an interesting one... what would they express, and for whom might those expressions be intended? Eep.

well what I mean was that while the heads all look identical, the positions that they are put in makes them look emotive. Its hard to explain!

the one on the top looks kind nervous to me, the one on the right looks intimidating, and the one on the left looks angry and defensive. My interpretation was that they are communicating amongst themselves, like fighting over food or something...

Ok, now I see it. The expression is carried through body-posture and the angle of their spinal protrusions. I was too "close" to the image to notice the suggested communication.

Simply amazing! The lighting seems to show some expression on some of the skulls; I like this effect very much. ^_^

Wow, I just love the jaws..and all their little bumps. The fact that they look all slimy, wet and shiney is a really great effect.

Very impressive work. Disturbing yet beautiful all at once, it had a nice bit of 'dark' feeling to it. Very fascinating, eh.
