Description I really don't like posting something that's already been posted before but these are better quality renders with mods made to the camera settings and now, it's sitting on a turntable, which will be used in the upcoming fully-interactive flash animation turnaround.

Turntable is modeled after the platform used to rotate the vehicle in the batcave.

Hmm, your rendering looks so smooths of the batmobile. Topnotch work! And I'm excited about that turn around animation too!

on the left side of this link is everything you need: [link]

If you're trying to make it as accurate as possible like I was, you'll need to collect a lot of reference and weed out the replicas vs the real thing. It takes some time but it's doable. I'd offer to send you my reference photos but I have no idea how I could send something that large

Yeah, totally. There are so many things to question about a movie prop that was built way back before the internet documented anything

I have your older render fav'd but this one is by far the best one!

Really nice model, the base material/texture seems like it could use a tiny bit more reflection though.

Thanks for the feedback If I tweeked the reflections, it wouldn't be by much because I based the model off of the movie vehicle, which was a stealth black, rather than all the replicas built after that were touched with clearcoat

You know, I was thinking that just as I wrote the comment. After I noticed how well the lighting rig was set up I thought to myself: I don't think he would overlook something as obvious as that, the matte material was most likely intentional.

Again, very nice work.

This is amazing. Once you do the animation, is there anyway you can make a screen saver of it?

garyjsmith In reply to WayneTech-SPFX [2010-11-12 21:48:46 +0000 UTC]

I'll definitely look into it for you. I'm sure I can export a .gif and use some sort of encoder to make Windows recognize it
