VERY nice use of stock.
You definetely have awesome manipping skills.
It's more 'hopeful' than creepy, because of the light straight ahead.
And the fact that you named it 'Basement' adds a storylike aspect to it.
For me, the viewer, I feel like I'm being chased in the basement.
And running towards the light. Reminds me of 'IT', actually.
So yes there is creepiness, but more than just that.
I love the filmy sort of grain you added on top as well.
Beautiful textures.
And the huge array of colours, ranging from deep plums to sea-greens.
It draws the viewer in, very captivating.
