Request by lu40953 : "more sketches of nuko yang and ruby"I'm well aware that the crayon is missing its tip in the second part. Welp.
When critiquing, please include at least one negative aspect aside from detail or quality.

Being blunt, 4komas are mostly out of the question. Fully-complete drawings are also highly unlikely.
Having said that, I want to keep practicing, and the best way to do that is sketches. If you look at my more recent status updates, I've been doing some sketchies that were meant to practice a certain area. Smile was front-face, the second was shadowing and rightward-facing faces, the third was expression and downwards-facing faces. A while back, I also made some other sketchy-type drawings. (Even more stuff on Patreon, too.)
This gets boring, however. So! I ask that y'all comment some ideas for sketches. Make them interesting. I can do characters, in poses/scenarios, but they're not going to be detailed. They're not going to come out

It's hard to critique something so simple, but I'll do my best.
The expressions are quite spot on. It's very cute, and I like the chibi Ruby expression on the left.
I would zoom out a little bit more: maybe show the artwork/table Ruby is drawing on. Ruby's legs on the right doesn't seem like they the are the same legs that are bent over the paper on the left.
For Yang, perhaps draw some movement lines too if you want to emphasize how fast/hard Ruby hit Yang's forehead (Ruby's not the only one that moved). Might also wanna angle the crayon a bit more cuz im not sure if Ruby already turned before or after she hit Yang.

Nice and cute. Pretty simple. Hard to really write a lot.
Only issue I had here is the "consistency" between the impact and the pencil's location? This may just be me personally, but the pencil probably should have been a little higher and on top of Yang's face to really get in the idea that it hit her. When positioned like that, the pencil doesn't even look like it moved: that's kind of an issue I find with comics: you have to show the follow through always.
I don't want to go into smaller things like the Pencil's point not being there in the second half, or the lack of design details since it's a sketch, but it's nice a cute. Nice job!
