Description
The rough, uneven concrete biting into the soft skin of his bare feet, fingers curled around the crisp fibers of the bandage he usually wore to cover the mess that had once been his eyes. It would have been so easy to call for Ejiri, to ask him and to help guide him but Adrian hated having to rely on him, on anyone for that matter. He knew Ejiri was happy to do it but still, it never sat right with him. Not that much ever did sit right with Adrian.Maybe Finn was right though, maybe he really was just too proud to admit he needed help.
I will admit my favorite thing about this entire photo is those bare little feets...

I don't actively search for doll pics, but the ones I come across are almost always female. This is a nice change, he's such a handsome little doll, too. I'd love clothes and hair like his. xD

The sculpt is a Delf Sleeping Yder, which I had modded with the scars. He's from [link] though they're not selling Delfs at the moment.

Please don't take this the wrong way, it's awesome that you're pulling together these features but they're very much 80% Hiritai/Oki-oki (who are the same person) and 20% everyone else, there are dozens of awesome doll photographers around so it just strikes me as a little odd that one single person should take up the majority of an article. Don't get me wrong, she's taken some fantastic shots over the years and she's a lovely girl but there's a lot more to dolly photography than Hiritai =/

I was wondering that, did you just grab them from the most popular page? I'd really suggest having a proper dig around because there are many, many less well known doll photographers who do some absolutely beautiful work and could really do with the exposure.

I find it amazing in many ways just how much life a doll with closed eyes can have. But Adrian rarely ever looks like he is asleep.
I think my favorite parts of this photo is the colors and also that hand against the wall, the way you've positioned it makes it look so elegant.
Bah, I really envy your skill at composition. It makes me want to work harder at my own photography >__<.

The photo of Adrian and the writing are really lovely together - as individual pieces they're lovely too, but having the writing accompany the photo is really emotive, I think

Aren't we all like this once in a while? It's human nature.. But few have the strength to carry on, to prove everyone that they don't need any help, even though it hurts like shit. I kinda see Adrian this way, it reminds me of my own personality. Maybe that's why I appreciate him so much. Because it proves me that the true self hidden behind this mask is screaming for someone to look over me, to help or to comfort me. Or Adrian, in this case.
Uhh... sorry, I hope you've understood something, I'm not pretty good with words, and combining it with my crappy english, it results something meaningless ( >.>
Anyway, the photo is just awesome. The colors fit so well with all those feelings inside it and of course, your writing. Oh, and his bare feet.. another proof of how fragile he really is, in my eyes.
You're a god for creating such a beautiful character.
