Description
Time had never flowed freely in the Garden, it was always the perfect spring day, with it's cool breeze and warm sun that carried promises of a summer that never came. The trees where always a verdant, vivid green, some of them always baring soft pink or white blossoms, they never knew the touch of winter or stood naked, free of their leaves for a few long, bitter months.
But with Hades incapacitated as he was, a prisoner of his own humiliation the seals that had kept Chronos locked away for all those years had begun to crumble. How many years he had spent in that heady, silken prison the God of Time did not know (and that bothered him vaguely, he should have known things like that, being Time itself after all) but he would savor his freedom, even if his revenge had been stolen from him by the very act that freed him.

With Chronos' release time finally flowed freely in the Garden, released like a torent from a dam and the trees learned, for the first time, of the touch of winter.
