Description
My second tutorial.A simple & fast way of creating mesh, net, grids etc. in 3DS MAX, it can also be used for many other purposes as well.

i didn't use "inset" but instead i beveled the edges and uses a solidify modifier, i don't remember how it was called in 3ds max

Yup bevel is actually the better choice, & the modifier is known as shell in 3ds max.

yes, thank you airflamesred & Azakishimo you can use it for making objects like various fences, all types of nets, car grills & stuff like that, also try texturing it or giving a shader it'll improve the result.
And if you do not understand the tutorial I will be obliged to help you understand it.

Mesh as in metal fence rather than the generic 3d term.
