im absolutely late for the party T_T
but this was really fun.

of course, i had to leave a lot of artists out. right now, im very much into pen and ink masters like joseph clement coll, charles dana gibson, james montgomery flagg, etc...
also, im quite a bit into bob peak at the moment.

its a shame of epic proportions i had to leave out greats like bernie fuchs, norman rockwell, newell convers wyeth, craig mullins, nicolas "sparth" bouvier, chris `alohalilo sanders, erik tiemens, hiroshige, goran josic, greg manchess, james jean, ken adam, tim "rinaldo" mcburnie, *zhuzhu , *Mr--Jack and `ukitakumuki , to name just a few, whose art i love to pieces, whose art i often look at for enjoyment, inspiration or to learn how they solved certain problems.

also, having such a hard time to get the cream of the crop of artists in there, there is no way i could have spared a few boxes for blade runner (my single absolute favorite movie), ridley scott movies in general (alien is a close second), tarantino madness, david attenboroughs bbc documentations (mainly the life of mammals, life in cold blood and the blue planet), scifi, fantasy and pulp literature (robert e. howard, neal asher, lovecraft, china miéville, neil gaiman, ...), fashion (!!!), animation (with milt kahl, there at least is the single best disney artist ever, but then, i totally didnt cover miyazaki, whose films i love just as much), fitness/sports and all the awesome video games out there (metal gear, demons souls, uncharted, final fantasy, mechwarrior, armored core...).
