Description Oh no, another non-anime stuff DDD:

My art instructors in the past told me to keep my anime style separate from my life drawing style...so yea..now it always looks awkward when I try to combine both styles! XD;; (but I attempt to anyways)

Sheldon [link] is an awesome instructor!! I'm learning a lot everyweek. Even tho I don't really like Florentine style..the fundamental of the human structure is there. And the curves and Calstate Cool I love more curvular lines than the stiff stuff I learned in Figure Drawing.

I will upload some more cleaned up work whenever...I scanned this is for my portfolio hw...

Oh Happy Chinese New Years~! (I still have to cg the yearly artwork) So busy!!

Ah, thanks.
I wasn't sure because I can draw some things kind of quick that used to take me awhile.

Great stuff here. I wish people would post more things like this. These kinds of studies are what really show a person's strengths and unique-ness. Super~

Hehe, they really do show how well an artist grasp the human structure. I'm still learning~~

I seperate my fashion illustrating style and manga style too But of late I've been combining stuff >_o; Very nice! I wish I could get normal proportions too >_<; But I have stylised proportions beaten and pitched firmly into my brain now.

I think these are very nice. I never really thought many of my gesture drawings turned out all that well : (

That anatomy looks so amazingly good! Nice poses! Good to know that you're getting a lot out of art school. Happy Chinese New Year!

That's exactly how I was taught - to keep anime and life drawing separate... And now all my life drawing stuff looks weird. xD;;

I love your curvey lines. *__*;; Your gesture work looks so accurate! O':

Oh noes...! Well, it may not be anime/manga/japanimation stuff, but hey, looks good, and it's good practice. Keeping the basics tip-top sharp is always good for your own work.

Too bad I'm not so hot at the basics.

We were having to do that in art class too lately, I remeber that my teacher said that we should look at the person twice as long as our drawings. Yours look more like a person than mine, great job.
