Description
There are five heroines total in a joint series titled 'The Grafters'. Each of the heroes gains their abilities through living suits known as 'second skins'. I'll be making a bio for each of the Grafters as time permits. This one belongs to AraghenXD Β , and is known to his followers as Fly-Girl. This version of her is not the mutated-fly like in the canon version of Fly-Girl. This one wears a living suit that envelopes her and gives her the abilities (and habits) of a fly. Each of the OCs in this series has various modifications from the originals.
The next one will feature BiscuitDude 's Frenzy.

Thanks! Don't abandon your efforts, if you look through my scraps you can see my early work and how much I've improved since then (and there are works that are even more primitive than those)!

Dayum!
I think this is the best she has looked in your style!
Love the spiky hairs!
Love the mandibles!
And I love the segmented body!

I just kept thinking, "How would Chris Nolan make this look?"

Indeed.
He probably wouldn't do it though.

He can't make her boring.

EldLynch-Tristan In reply to AraghenXD [2015-02-27 02:14:28 +0000 UTC]
Nope.
He can only make her complex and explore her themes better than anyone.
He tends to go Β with film ideas that have some realism to them.
I could see him doing a new version of the Fly. There's certainly room for a 3rd interpretation.

Hmmm......yeah.
Nolan's Fly would be just the guy thinking he's becoming a fly because the whole mutation thing isn't realistic. Hell, the teleporters aren't realistic. XD

EldLynch-Tristan In reply to AraghenXD [2015-02-27 02:23:31 +0000 UTC]
Because Inception and Interstellar were 100% realistic.
He likes to push reality a little bit and look at fictional concepts from as real an angle as he can.
Teleportation is nothing compared to some of what he did in Interstellar.
I think he could do teleportation easy.
But the question is how he would handle the Fly transformation itself.

That's where it'd go wrong. Keep Nolan away from ANY of that.

You're just judging him because you didn't like his vision of Batman.
I've seen his Non-Batman stuff.
Trust me, he could pull it off in a new and unique way.

Nolanite used tight screenplay.
Fun has healed 10,000 points.
Sloppy writing and bad acting both took 4,000 damage and fainted.

Only thing I liked of his was Wrath of the Titans.
But largely, he's a director with little creativity or vision.
The kind of director who, all he does is say "action" "cut" and tell everyone when filming ends.
That's why TMNT felt so much like Bay.
I could tell just from the cinematography and color saturation in the trailers that this was Bay's film, through and through.
His fingerprints were all over the negative.

EldLynch-Tristan In reply to AraghenXD [2015-02-27 03:01:37 +0000 UTC]
Seriously!
Bay way oversaturates the colors in his films. All of the humans' skin tones are off because of it. They all look orange!

My original character model for Fly-Girl was just that. I didn't understand that FG was a 'werefly', I thought she was wearing some sort of bio-mechanical thing like the Guyver for the longest time.
