My name is Arthur Collins. For a long time I thought that I was some sort of cast out. In many ways I am, but I should be ashamed of none of them. I now know that we shouldn't fear asking questions. If some one fears questions, then they fear answers above anything.

For me, that question was, "Can a person be good without believing in a god?" The answer was a clear and resounding, "Yes." That answer lead to the next question, "Do our beliefs or lack of them determine if we're good?" The answer to that question was, "No, our behavior determines that."

Any good answer will always lead to more questions, and we should never fear their answers or asking the questions that follow them. For now, I know that I have to help the Resistance and change our nation forever. Not for Christianity, or Islam, Buddha, Joseph Smith or even atheism. It should be changed for us. It should be changed so that we can be all of these things. We can not only tolerate our differences, we can delight in them. My suit was made by an alien race over ten thousand years ago. What would they have thought or believed? Perhaps this cosmos can produce life and thinking beings in infinite diversity in infinite combinations.

For now, I must find my friend Maria...
