0.4 is fine, i just prefer 0.3 when drawing small lines like facial features

I learned this during the days I was working as a freelance animator, and this is still the very essence of correct character drawing.
How many papers have you used before you come up with the finished product? In my case, three -- on the first paper the stick figure, then the necessary details, and on the second paper I fix up the drawing a bit and on a light table I drew on the other side of the paper (this will help me fix proportion errors not normally seen as you first drew it). Then on the third, the finished inked up product.
