It's just a regular SMG (sub-machinegune), though it might have been one of the special named weapons you can find so it does more damage.

eugene,it belonged to one of reilly's rangers, and the person who owns it gives it to you after you save them from super mutants.

this would have looked better if you had been using the sniper rifle, of a missle launcher. and if you had decided to NOT use the tiny super mutant corpse and used the broken chunk of wall behind you.

did you guys know that the T-51b is actually a later model that phased out the T-45d armor that the Brotherhood uses? The T-45d had issues because of problems finding a suitable power source, which was fixed when the T-51b was introduced to the battlefield during the liberation of Anchorage. So the T-45d is actually an outdated model, not the T-51b. And i just completely nerded out on you guys. So very sorry.

which is better? the old school power armor (T 51b) or the newer ones?

Old school T-51b has the most armour rating, I like it best.

the winterized version actually has almost 10 million hit points, making it the strongest armor in the game. i haven't tested this theory, but it's possible that the armor could last the entire game.

what version of the game do you have? cuz if you start a new game on the 360 version with Operation Anchorage downloaded you can get the winterized armor straight outta the vault.

you might still be able to complete Operation Anchorage right outta the Vault.

clasics are usually better.

FF: that was the only power armor you could obtain in Fallout (1)
