****Download for best quality****My second preset! And this one is of WOLF LINK WOAHHH
Ive been wanting to make this preset for a while, and am glad I havent seen anyone else make it
This took like a million days to make, and it still needs some tweaks and what not.
The great thing about this preset? I made it for everyone! Yayyy! Anyone who wants the preset file can has it.
Please credit me if you use this preset in photos and such!
Also, because its for the community, I am willing to take suggestions for change, and of course, critiques.

Thanks! And some of the screenshots of the game ive seen make him look more greenish. At least his upper half. It was actualy hard to find a decent refrince for the preset. I did make a revised color version once, but I never released it. And meh, I like him green

well even in the pic hes not really green (not is body anyway)... except his head and mane... thing. and his tail. and i only dont like the green because it doesnt look like the real him, like off the game. it does give him a little uniqueness i guess.

My FH won't let me use Presets. I read and followed all the rules, but when I open FH to use it, the Preset box is empty...

Honestly I did become a bit tired of making presets and college has been taking up my time. I am going to update this one though!

This is kind of hard to explain simply. Basically, in your txt file for your preset there are two places to put a head picture. One for the left side and one for the right side. Here is an example from my instructions in the wolf link preset:
material preset_4_headMatL <--- the left side of the head

}

material preset_4_headMatR <--- the right side of the head

}
You place the right side of the head in the headMatR and the left side of the head in the headMatL place. So essentially you have two pictures for the head and you link to them in the text file.

That is basically what I just explained. You make two separate pictures, one for one side and one for the other.

you know what this is the closest nevermind my other comment eye cover is one of the manes

the little side-ways basicly commas are on the eyebrows and give him an eye-cover with a back, elbow, rump mane

Unfortunately the face markings are as close as I can make them. What do you mean by eye cover?
And yes, after its been a while I realize his sides should be a much darker green going on black. Once winter rolls around here I might update the preset with some changes.

I love your wolf preset so I downloaded it .
Uh just to find when it appeared in the preset editor (It seemed fine until after I already exported it to the game)
I noticed in the present mode in the game your wolf was yellow and black only on the left side of of his face starting from his ear and going down to his collar.
Keep in mind people don't forget to look at your critter from all sides in the preset editor before exporting the preset to the game . (It will save you the frustration lol)

The instructions explain this. There are two head pictures, you need to change the name of the texture in the material file to match the second head picture.

Any who I tinkered with the material file like you said and now I have a awesome Link Wolf present from head to toe.
Again thanks so much for all the work you have done with this preset! (Now I'm eager to make my own but first I'll see if I can get the hang of the material file when it comes to presets)

Oh darn I wish I could get the hang of the material file (Understand its inner workings and what not lol )
Right now I'm just changing the body part names to read the preset's folder number, the body part, and which body part (An if that doesn't work I add a .png at the end ) just as I learned from your panda preset.
Which frankly he has turned into my training tool on feral heart presets!
An If it still doesn't show well I make a copy of the head are body of the preset. ( but I only do that if having 1 file for the head or body just does not work )
Um since you really know your stuff on presets ghostinghowel can you explain to me why user Sullivan's timberwolf preset is just a head?

Right now the only reason you should have to rename the file in the materials file as a .png is if the picture is a .png file type. Here is an example: [link]
As you can see, the body, head, eye, and tail are all .jpgs while the mane is a .png file. This means that in the materials file, the head, body and eye, must end in .jpg just like the pictures.
However, the mane file must end in a .png, just like the picture.
For the most part I use jpgs, so you only need to worry about .pngs for the manes, however other artists could use pngs, so its wise to look a the file type.
As for the timberwolf preset, I cant really help you unless I can see the pictures and your materials file. You are most likely just naming the files wrong in the materials file.
