Donovan was given the nickname Descartes due to his love of philosophy and his analytical approach to problems. Generally prefers talking to fighting and thus doesn't carry a gun, choosing a pair of power-fists instead that provide a variety of uses.

I was just curious, is there a reason that they're all animals/anthro? Or is the entire universe like that?

Good memory! Donovan started out as part of the 'draw something alien' challenge on Legion which I'd failed since Donovan didn't look anything like an alien... makes a pretty good time-traveller though
I reckon a lot of the universe will be anthro characters but also with a number of humans (check out the latest character sheet uploaded, see if you remember Phil). No particular reason, just panned out that way after creating Miranda as my EnterVoid attempt, then came Averie because I wanted a bird character, and Donovan because I like how he'd turned out from that Legion challenge.

Yup, I learnt a lot from that audition. Aside from updating the characters, this time the teleportation room will look a lot more appropriate i.e. futuristic, rather than that previous page where it looked like a sound studio

Oh speaking of which, have you tried using google sketch up to help set up backgrounds? It's a really easy to use lightweight program. Since you do most (well.. all lol) your work on the pc it may gave you a big boost

Seriously though thanks for pointing it out, guess I haven't had much experience yet with male bodysuits so ended up a bit 'Ken doll' with that profile - will need to have a look through some Marvel stuff to get an idea!
