There's something about hearing this theory from Shadow that makes it seem more likely... but on the other hand I'm not so sure he's correct. Corrupted power has plenty of direction -- at anything within reach. The reason they can't speak to him mind-to-mind may just be distance or a shield of Zielo's keeping them out the way it did at the temple.

Ive been reading this series off and on, and let me say all of the art and the shading and the perspectives and backgrounds and effects is phenomenal for how many of these there are and how often theyre pumped out. Its been an excellent read and your stuff is great !

I wish SonicX was like this then Super Dark Sonic in season two would've made more sense then him being straight up angry at the fact Chris was knocked out, & Cosmo was scared as shit *Sorry* like I dont think him turning dark from that made sense at all..rage sure. New corrupted transformation from hurt friends? AH no..it's better if Super Dark Sonic had a history in order to have been 'born' in a sense, & this comic makes it seem like it's the missing history, but we all know Sonic X was shit *sorry*

Eh, wouldn’t say Sonic X is shit, definitely agree on the Dark Sonic thing though, ain’t gonna call the show good either. But I do think calling it shit is a bit far, entertainingly mediocre is more like it, as it did have some rather good moments with a number of bad but mostly just...mediocre ones and writing in general being pretty plain.

Well Shad, I don't think that's right, because sonic's brain is still perfectly functional. He's experiencing aggressive but altogether ordinary emotions. Vengeance, spite, and the thrill of competition. Sonic may be destroying himself (among other things) but the process is not yet complete.
Far more likely, Sonic (or the dark power within him) is deliberately tuning you out. I wonder if he's becoming possessed.
