With the imminent release of part two of Sonic Prime around the corner, I thought I would continue my Canadian Sonic fancast. This time, focusing on the Sol Dimension AKA Blaze The Cat's homeworld. Since it would make sense to include it in a show about different realities (the window of oppertunity is still open, I think). Now some of you will be asking why I chose Ashleigh Ball as Blaze instead of someone like Britt McKillip or Kelly Sheridan. Well, there's a couple reasons, actually. Firstly, Blaze is (debatably) one of the tomboys in the series. And Ashleigh Ball is known to voice tomboys. Secondly, Ball voiced Black Widow. Just like Laura Bailey, one of Blaze's previous actresses. And thirdly, it's mostly due to IDW 4 which saw the introduction of both Tangle and Blaze. And if it was ever adapted into animation by WildBrain, I wouldn't be suprised if it had Ashleigh Ball basically talking to herself. But it was mostly inspired by this: www.deviantart.com/dracochariz… . As for Silver, after the cast for Sonic Prime was revealed, someone made a clip of Ian Hanlin's Sunburst voice atop images of Silver: www.reddit.com/r/SonicTheHedge… . While there are others who want Vincent Tong to voice Silver. So, I made this poll: www.deviantart.com/gijf2k1/pol… . I've seen someone suggest Andrea Libman as Marine. But I think that Chantal Strand could work as well. Especally since she and Libman have worked on various projects together such as Dragon Tales, Madeline, and My Little Pony. Eggman Nega's voice is essantly the same as Eggman so using Brian Drummond was a no-brainer. The choices for Captain Whisker and Johnny came from the same animated show. The Deep (based off of a series of graphic novels). Just imagine the same voices but digitally altered to make them sound more robotic.
