Description
Now you don't see love anymoreYou've waited all your life
For the pain to go away
And now the cycle is complete
Tears are not falling anymore
You despise the ones that need love
You have learned the secret to survive
And now the cycle is complete
You are living inside a world of hate
But what you really hate, is your life.

truely marvelous
The girl and the teddy bear seems to be a vector or am I wrong?
I love the concept. This makes me wish I was a kid again

Wow. That's a very intense piece. I certainly didn't expect it to be a little girl with such an anguished expression when I clicked on the enlarge button. Did you set it up?

It's cool
It's not set up. He was messing around.
The expression is in the eyes of the photographer, not the model.

Wow Wow Wow!!!
Fantastic lighting! Those windows hold so much expression!!! Yotam's pose is great with his arm up like that... it feels like he's so far away... unapproachable... lost...
GREAT job Gilad!!!

I clicked on this photo because I was fascinated by the architecture part of it. but soon I realised that this is much more than an architecture photo. there are emotions and feelings behind this photo. I think the dark atmosphere fits very well and helps to express the feelings of hate.
btw, how could you catch such a great moment? did you tell her to beat her pet or have you simply had very much of luck?

It's an interpatation of mine to a much different scene.
It's an example how a photographer can change the grasp of reality just by showing it differently, and attaching a good title.
It's actually my son in a moment of playing with his Teddy

i like the technique you've used to draw attention to the child. i found it interesting having the subject such a minor part of the photo space wise, especially with the strong contrast between architecture and child. there's almost too many elements both apparent and subconsious for me to comprehend

beautiful, but for my taste the girl is too much out of attention. yes i know this has been done on purpose, but it kinda distracts the viewer's eye.
greatly directed to the girl by using the vanishing point, but when you're there, you are somewhat out of the picture.
well, a bit more space on the right side and it would be perfect.
ps: have you used any light-source to illuminate the girl? it looks kinda stitchy how dark shadows surround the completely visible girl. well mainly due to missing shadow-edges...

The idea, as you guessed, was to keep her (actually it's him) a bit out of attention.
The idea is that because of the prespective, and the leading of the eye, you will follow the frame and find him at the edge of the frame, hitting his yellow Teddy.
Emotion is much stronger, when it hits by surprise.
It would have been obvies to make the scene the center of attention.

i would not like it if he's (!) in the center of attraction.
maybe in the right third's center would be perfect

You have a striking ability to use light in a truly expert way, the shadows and light in this really carve a path up to the child. A very well planned piece.
