Just something that I wanted to share with all of you.I'm not sure it's very original, but WTH.
I recomand drawing full body characters in order to practice drawing poses
Important:
Please use this technique only for drawing complicated scenes/poses/expressions/objects.In case you want to draw something simple, just draw it yourself. Stop being lazy
Use your own photos OR permitted stock ONLY!! 
Ask the real owner of the photo before using it!!!

This is just brilliant, I've never thought of doing anything like this.
Though, how do you reduce the opacity of the upper layer? I'm new to drawing stuff in Photoshop.

You simply choose the upper layer by clicking it. Above the layers there are a few options. One of the options is called 'opacity' which is automatically being set to 100% every time you create a new layer. All you need to do is click on it and type in 45% instead of 100%
Now your background layer has 100% opacity, while the upper one has 45%.
