yea he's still kinda a generic erin villain but i do like that he's like
and ascended version of scourge and sol -- like brutish and tyrannical but also super conniving.
like he doesn't even need to fight off shadowclan, he just waits for the perfect time to effortlessly take it

but yea i hope we get a little history about him tbh b/c otherwise he is a lil erin-stale lol

yeah its just bc like sol and scourge...we've seen it before...like a lot lol, even tigerstar was a lot like that thats how he became the leader of literally another clan within a few months probably and got riverclans approval. i just feel like villains themselves actually can have so much expansion to them and i hope in the later books he shows something unique that the fandom can remember him for thats not just a sad emo backstory (like clear sky, even if he was an ass, he was an anti-villain; he did unjust evil deeds with good intentions and that was new in itself)

yeah, it would be cool if the erins could write a good motivation for their villains that wasn't just like "something bad happened to me now i'm evil" but also weren't just like "i love power lololol". idk the erins just need more compelling n complex characters in general.
i guess another reason i hope we get more darktail exposition is b/c he's the only rogue with a clancat name so like i feel like he must have /some/ history with clan life idk. 
but yeah erins step up your game pls
