10E Update: With the launch of 40k 10th Edition comes a new "official" color scheme that embraces the black and purple. There are lots of us out there now, and it seems the hive mind noticed us! So, while I have enjoyed running Hive Fleet Megadeath all these years, they will be absorbed into the newly minted Hive Fleet Cetu.

"hive lord" was an IP friendly way to name the model. it was inspired by the story of the Doom of Malan'tai (which later became the Neurothrope).

It's a nice to see something a bit different from the bone+red I'm seeing everywhere at the moment. You do a great job of shading the blue bits.

It was mine too until the plastic kits came out. They are actually pretty rad.

I did have a little frustration with the heavy heads vs. frail necks and transport XD.
