Description
Paint/Photo: Myself
Model(s): Spawn of Cryptus, Cult Broodlord, 54mm Broodlord, 4th Edition Broodlord
Keyword: Hive Fleet Cetu
10E Update: With the launch of 40k 10th Edition comes a new "official" color scheme that embraces the black and purple. There are lots of us out there now, and it seems the hive mind noticed us! So, while I have enjoyed running Hive Fleet Megadeath all these years, they will be absorbed into the newly minted Hive Fleet Cetu.

I like the Hive Guard's talons on the Patriarch. I think he would compose greatly with an army of genestealers armed with scything talons, making them look like it was indeed a bigger variant of their own kin.

Evil, just evil having more than one of these in an army.

Yeah Thinning the word. Why is it so important?

a couple of reasons, lol. too thick leaves brush stroke texture and kills brushes. thinning also allows for effective blending. it takes a little time to master, but if you practice it will come to you. that being said, i didn't do much thinning for these models. this is mostly washes and dry brushing.
