I just loooove how you described the whole process! That gives me some clues on how you are doing the fur. Do you think acrylics could be a good medium for this kind of fur work?

Giselle-M In reply to Wintella [2012-07-08 15:41:23 +0000 UTC]

Thank you, yes I believe it would work in acrylics because that's how I did it on the lone wolf painting.

I will masted the fur in oil pastels before touching it with acrylics. I don't feel prepared for this yet...

Lovely! And very interesting, too! It's wonderful seeing how you paint; it makes me want to try my hand at oil again... (It's been such a long time.)

I especially like the "Oopsy Moments," showing that painting is not a "cut & dried" process that can be slapped down perfectly every time.

No problemmm I love tigers! They have 2 white ones at the Houston aquarium here and Texas (aquarium--yes, lol) and wow, it was an amazing experience. One had plopped down right next to the glass and while there it just turned it's head back and looked straight into my eyes and it was scary, but just truly....there is no words. So great job on the expression for sure!
