I hope this can be done in Sai, since all the digital painters I have seen use Photoshop, I have never seen anyone do digital painting in Sai..

Does Sai have layers?Β Can you change how quickly/thickly colour comes out when you use the brush tool?Β If so, then yes!

THANK YOU! That is a great/detailed tutorial Although much work and time consuming with the single-hair-strokes.. but it totally pays off!

Sure Β I don't have time for a super-in-depth critique unfortunately, but I'll do what I can

The final result and the tutorial itself are amazing, simply amazing! Probably it took you a lot of time to do this hyper realism, but I see the effort it is worth it! Thank you so, soooo much for taking your time to do this!

Nice, you've improved a lot throughout your tutorials. I really like this one and blurring the "underpainting" seems like an interesting technique for focus.

Thanks!Β *nods*Β Zooming way out, or blurring it, seems a good way to check to see how well you're coming along

I made it past the eyes and nose x) I like how it's coming along. I love your tutorial. You actually explain things, instead of using just pictures. Thanks so much!

The nose looks great!Β And the detail work on the muzzle is coming along well Β Thanks for sharing!

Thanks! I didn't follow the tutorial on this , but I simply used some things I picked up on, such as the nose and the muzzle. It's mainly a blend of my technique and yours. Luckily, I didn't have to constantly glance at this when doing it!

Awww, cute :3Β Yeah, doing it "your own way" is usually the best.Β Making whatever you learn or techniques from tutorials into something that works for you

Thanks a lot for this - I'm really new with the tablet (I have yet to get PS and a new computer too) so everything's kind of frustrating right now... but I'd love to get the hang of drawing my own characters and wolves and fur and eyes and such; how long did it take for you?

Thanks a lot!Β This one took a good bit of work, as it was all done by hand without any textures or fancy brushes or anything - around 20 hours, I think?
