Description
The CA Squad Support Weapon is a belt-fed light machine gun chambered in 6.35x43 mm CIS, the standard cartridge for all Juniote frontline weapons. The ASE entered service in 2019, a year and a half later than the FCA 97 service rifle. As far as light machine guns go, the ASE is fairly standard with 100 or 200 round boxes, a detachable bipod, and top-mounted picatinny rails for optics. It is relatively light and small compared to comparable weapon systems, but the length of its barrel can make it somewhat difficult to manoeuvre in tight spaces.~~~
In my ultimate wisdom, I decided not to write down what weapons I took as inspiration for this so... guessing time!
