Especially for a piece like this, where there are several quite different interpretations people have about it. Finally i have the story! Hope you like it!
[Note: If i have errors, it's because i'm Spanish]
Story:
Derpy was very happy walking, jogging with his new toy, bubble-staff, because it is their talent, or relates to what he does. Unfortunately Derpy not realize, that these toys is small ponies. So could bring some problems... And yes... The problems comes to her...
Derpy, to sit on on the clean grass, she began to make pretty little bubbles around of her, a number of ponies with a face of thugs, for what? For insult her of the bubble-staff is only the kids and called her "infant" after, the bad ponies destroy your precious and beautiful bubble-satff that she enjoyed so much. What same!
When this bad ponies leave, Derpy look to the breaked bubble-staff and she begin to cry and suffering by your toy, she can't believe what was happening... But she catch her and throw the trash and go away of the place for she cry alone... What sad...
Minutes after, she go and stay sitting in the lake crying and drop much tears and no pony help her... Derpy likes so much the bubbles and your favourite object was destroyed by this stupid ponies... Crying crying and crying, she stops in half hour and looks deeply to the lake with a sad face thinking could relax taking a bath in the clean and beautiful lake...
And finally she going to take a bath and swimming a little for forget your pains. Wakes up and walk to the shore of the lake, wetting slowly your body and finally all your body in the water and after swimming with your hoofs. She still looks sad, by this case, she begin to dive in the water and wet all your mane and tail, she swimming and swimming trying to get off the bubble-staff, but how it's your talent or she likes so much, can't do it...
Seconds later she stilling under of water diving, she stops and try to think in nothing for calm more, Derpy don't moving and thinking anything, she is closing your eyes and be floating under the lake without worrying with your air of your lungs, she don't think suicide yourself, but this way she is doing works a little of forget this part of the memory...
When your lungs are about to run out of air, Derpy going to up and get out of water and breath air, but she hits with something almost transparent of your head and she back, thinking what was that, and go up again she hits again with something almost transparent, she confused go with other side to out but again hits with the same, Derpy puts more confused thinking what's going on, begin to look around of herself while your air runs out and without realizing it, she are trapped inside in a big bubble! And filled of water completely without air for breath! Although being this one thing she likes, she puts suprised and swimming to the one side and use your hoofs to push the bubble cape as she can, but the bubble don't break, this bubble it's unpoppable!
Derpy get's in panic putting more suprised than before, she feel that your air can't resist anymore and push the bubble cape with all your forces but the problem how she don't have much speed in the water and the resist cape, can't escape with easyly of inside, when she can't resist still anymore of your lungs and she release all your air and begin to take some water, she push more the unpoppable cape, but continues unbroken, Derpy get some scared and panic why she don't want be drown of this way, she don't know what's going on, but she going to lost your life, while, she is fighting to escape and push for break the cape, she is taking water in all your lungs, and your face are putting purple slowly...
When she have all your lungs are filled of water, she is slowly give up and slowly leaves of push the bubble cape, she is closing your eyes and your body go to the middle the bubble and after put in the botton of the bubble and she rest in peace...
After of she was drowned and rest in peace in other life... She feel slowly can breath thought still are in the water and takes some the thing that can beath... Minutes later, Derpy is opening your eyes, she is contemplating the water bubble looking aroud the cape and sees the sun with the see in the underwater. I don't know what's happend yourself but she... Is breathing underwater and... Still alive...
I don't know what happens with Derpy, if she is going to leave the bubble? She create this bubble? Or other other pony/animal? How long she be inside the breathable water bubble? But the important point she still alive.

Ah, I find the story sad even if she is still alive... maybe in a way it is even worse because she is trapped and can't get out...

Yeah, the point I made this sad story for that Derpy can still loves the bubbles. And don't worry about if she be trapped forever, and if she still happy after of this sad history. But my purpose is make the lectors make your finals when I wrote the final part, I think you want Derpy want break the bubble and go out of her, I understand, But how I said before, if you put this history in the description of this art, it's only for more people made your final, if she want be trapped inside a long time or forever, in one moment she know she create this bubble accidentaly and can get out of the bubble in any moment or other pony save her, style of add history or want do RP. (But renember she don't dead drowned)
And the inspiration, I made this because I like so much the characters inside the bubbles (With ponies too) But how i'm Brony i'm trying made a good histories without deads or bloods. But anyway, i'm glad you like the history, because I need think much time for make how like this. And one thing, your welcome.
[Thanks, because I like the Einglish and I want learn so much, but the school don't learn so much and I learn better in internet chatting and do RPs (The story not much because some words I used the translate). But and some games I put in Einglish how Battlefield, Terraria... Because it's a good way of learn. Yes, it's something hard.]

She could be happy in the bubble. I was just thinking she might not be happy in there forever. Then it would become sad again if she wants to get out but can't. But maybe she can be happy forever in there.
