Description
Played by Mary-Louise Parker on weeds. I fell in love with the expression when I first saw it, so I had to paint it. Curly hair like this is much easier (and funner) to paint than straight hair. Go figure. Anyways, this was done in 2 days as usual (haha I'm getting pretty good at this). And to be fair I used a grid for the sketch and the eye-dropper tool for colors, so take that as you will. Oh, and I made a few modifications to the original, such as her left (our right) arm, and the fact that she is no longer wearing any clothes

I paint it using a hard brush in photoshop (rather than the airbrush), at a high resolution. So when I resize it to what it is now, I use the sharpen filter, to get it to look how it did when it was larger. Resizing images smaller has a tendency to blur them a bit.

Ah yes, I think I know what you mean. I may have exaggerated the eyes a bit, as they were what first drew me to the picture. But I think it has something to do with the lid that makes it look like that. I could be wrong though. Thank you for your comment, and I'm glad you noticed the eye thing as well
