okay guys...this THING is ULTRAHUGE! so suggest you only look at it if you need to 0_o;;hmm......yeah.....not so sure about this tutorial. because I never TOOK A LESSON on coloring with color pencils. I kinda taught it myself and I'm afraid this tutorial might NOT be best for some starters. EEP! or the technique might be.......STUPID!! X_x; well, um.....okay...

i basically do this.. but more in a messy way.. and not cross-hatching.. it makes it look like fur

it's a good style. making hatch, look like luminous. i'll try it and i'll post i don't know when (cuz i have no time at this moment). thankyou!
another way to paint is making circles, covering all the paper.

Wow! This has to be one of the most helpful tutorials yet. It actually explains the TECHNIQUE not oh, you just use this color and this color and that one and somehow MAGICALLY get this one (ironic, somehow they've managed to magically get it while yours looks like well... a whole bunch of random colors scribbled together...) I've heard of the crosshatch many times... and whenever I've seen it around it always looks like well:

But I've never thought of doing it like #... and you're right... it DOES look better! I'm going to practice on the practice piece you gave me... and then apply it to my drawings! ^.^

I always cross hatch in pencil doodles, but never with color pencils. I go in circles for that. :3

i went through a handful of color pencil tutorials..and currently, i think yours is one of the better ones. mainly because you're willing to go through with all the minor details that most artists left out, which i'm more than grateful for. ^^
you make cross hatching look really good, it doesn't even look like there's any hatching at all because of the many layering. but you're right about the layering, it makes everything look more in depth. hopefully with your tutorial, i'll be able to start coloring and succeeding :3

and i have crayola color pencilz

gosh it was sucha long time ago. I no longer have sets of fonts I used to have back than.
but if I remember correctly, it was "soopafresh".
