Personality: As a Top Ranger, Daven's personality always shined the brightest when at work. Always eager to help Pokémon and people alike, he could easily be described as dutiful and resolute. He tends to come off as the calm and responsible type, but that doesn't mean he doesn't know how to have a bit of fun nowadays, far from it. A bit of a workaholic, he sometimes needs a bit of a push to leave his job though.
On a more personal side, the ranger is actually a very caring person with no love for conflict. He'll often try to find the peaceful solution out of any situation.

His battle style? None. Luck, improvisation and using the environment to his full advantage is what Daven is all about, considering he has rarely ever had to battle. He's a Ranger, not a Trainer.

History: His work on the Ohana Islands having brought him to take a more stationary job, Daven has since then taken direction of a new base on the islands. This led the Ranger Union to make a rather unique decision of assigning two leaders to the regional rangers, letting Caleb Alaka'i and himself share the leadership. Daven has since moved in with Tyrone, previously known as Taz Saints. Nowadays, his life consist on monitoring the conditions of the southern part of the Ohana Islands and to ensure the continued well-being of the new sanctuary on Lone Island.
Ensuing some rather eventful last few years, Daven has taken Tyrone as his spouse and they were to celebrate their honeymoon in peace in Apollo City. Despite this, their plans were unexpectedly shaken when the prof's assistant, Dia Phalon , actually entered the both of them in the current contest without consulting with them.

Mila ~ Absol ~ Female
Super Luck
Daven's first and foremost partner, Mila goes back with him way back before he decided to become a ranger. Don't be fooled by her initial calm and collected behaviour, she can be a little bit of a spoiled and playful girl when she feels like it. Yet, she is still the most reliable of Pokémon the ranger could have ever wished for, her bond with Daven being by far one of the strongest to be found in the Union. She has no Pokéball, being Daven Pokémon Partner.
Other Facts: Unlike most Absol, Mila's horn is on the left side of her head. The brooch she wears matches Nubi's collar.

Anubis ~ Houndoom ~ Male
Flash Fire
Once belonging to a group of poachers, the dog was rescued by Daven & Ty a year or so ago, with his Pokéball recovered from their leader. Starving back then, the two shared their meal with him and got him to help them with their job. Since then, Nubi has remained with them and is enjoying everyday to the utmost. Energetic, with a natural love for life, the Houndoom is always happily exploring his surroundings and in a positive mood. Not unknown to Daven, he has taken a liking to Mila although she's currently finding the dog to be a bit of an annoyance.
Other Facts: Shiny, wears a collar matching Mila's brooch and not much else to say apart from this.

Alaska ~ Abomasnow ~ Male
Snow Warning
Alaska is, well, not Daven's mon. However, for the safety of the residents of the Sanctuary, the ranger took him along whilst going on his honeymoon. Surprisingly, he's willing to obey Daven's commands to an extent but his loyalty to his previous trainer is unwavering, and still very strong after three years. Extremely dangerous in battle, he won't be called unless there is no avoiding it. While Daven will do his best to keep Alaska under control, be careful if you end up facing this Pokémon. He won't hesitate to bring the hurt to both Pokémon and Trainer. Reside in a Great Ball recovered during the events of BFOI Y2.
Other Facts: Franz Moraine 's Pokémon, has a distinctive cross shaped scar on his right shoulder.

Trivia:
Always carries a white pouch on his belt. If his fine styler is not on his arm, it rests in that pouch. A keystone has also been embedded into his styler.
Closely similar to his pin, a white tattoo can be found on his right wrist.
Daven bears scars on his abdomen, which appear to be stab wounds.
Has a little bit of a thing for ice cream, especially maple flavoured.
Though Daven doesn't speak Pokemon, his Fine Styler has been fitted with translating device a few years ago that allow him to communicate with most of the common species of pokemon. A small chip is hidden behind his left ear that always keep a link to the Styler over a distance of 500 meters. Thanks to Mattias Colt's tinkering about with it, it also now has an increased repertory of the species it can translate.
