Character Info:

A hunter of peerless caliber, Raven has proven time and again that he has what it takes to handle unexpected situations thrown at him. Despite this, Hype 2 is where he's making his debut as a competitor. After the cold events that transpired on Ohana a few years back, he is now employed by RapidEx under recommendation from the ex-CEO of the Frontier Initiative, relocating permanently to Unova in the process.
While the post is his main employment, he is not above taking an odd hunting job now and again. All strictly legal, of course.

Mature for his age, he has a good helping of common sense and easily adapts to many situations. A force to be reckoned with, anyone taking him on in battle without the intention of being serious will end up struggling against him. When the going gets rough, he doesn't hesitate to throw himself into battle alongside his 'mons, sword in hand or not. While seemingly reckless, forcing him into a corner like this is dangerous as his finely honed sixth sense and years of hunting experience come into play.

Joshua/Absol - Super Luck

Raven's number one, Joshua has been around since the first hunt. Their friendship ensued from a joke in said first hunt, when the client scoffed that if he could actually capture the alpha shiny Absol without any help whatsoever, they'd let the hunter keep him instead of redeeming the big guy. Against all odds, with no equipment, knowledge of the situation, or Pokémon of his own, he succeeded through a total fluke. It's not hard to imagine that the client was not happy with the outcome, losing his prize as the capture went without a hitch. Joshua's scar came from defending Raven as that same client tried to get rid of him soon after.

Joshua has been Raven's 'right hand man' ever since, quick and agile in battle or hunt, despite his huge size. His size also allows him to carry a fully grown adult on his back for an extended period of time. A big softie at heart though, Joshua is very gentle and mindful around kids and appears to have even adopted Luna as his own.

Ragnell/Honedge - No Guard
Moves: Swords Dance - Iron Defense - Sacred Sword - Fury Cutter

Caught during Raven's first trip to Kalos on a job, the sword literally latched on to the hunter's right arm as he pursued another target causing him to black out with the unexpected possession. That said, the hunter woke up only after a few minutes, surprising the sword with his resilience.

A soul-eater type of ghost, Ragnell would rather drain the possessed soul/stamina instead of using the possessed like a puppet, with the hunter's soul being one of the most abundant and resilient she ever got to taste. Due to this, she decided to stick with him and become his weapon alone, generally refusing to possess any other individual. Certains unexpected circumstances led her to gain a human form, much to the surprise of her trainer and his surrounding.
Like most Honedge, she is a master of the slashing style and a heavy hitter with the habit to increase her sharpness through Swords Dance. In dual combat with her trainer, Ragnell can use Raven's soul to amplify her own power as necessary.
She's also Victor's self-proclaimed girlfriend, much to the disgust of the Coffin-mon.

Luna/Skitty - Cute Charm
Moves: Copycat - Captivate - Attract - Sing

A gift from a close friend, Luna is all you can imagine in a kitten. A little furball overflowing with energy who loves attention more than anything. She know she's cute and often uses this to get out of trouble when caught misbehaving. Less fighter and more prankster, she can be a handful to deal with, in battle and out, often opting to confuse the opponent instead of dealing damage.

Astaroth/Flygon - Levitate
Moves: Dragon Claw - Supersonic - Giga Drain - U-turn

A jolly, young Flygon, and the most recent addition to the team, Astaroth is easy to excite and loves to play whenever he gets the chance. If there is one thing he can't resist, it's showing off with demonstrations of his air speed. He still has yet to master a number of precise aerial manoeuvers, but his speed more than makes up for the lack of skill in contrast to the other team members at this stage.
