I am new to Apophysis, only done second fractal... many that I have seen have this solidity like your work... none of my renders so far appear like that...do you have to do something after they are rendered?

Advanced critique.... hmmm. That always equates to "what would I do differently", since there's no right or wrong and your piece is excellent, so:
I would add a slightly wider black border for more balance, maybe try a less harsh colour than white for the border (maybe add just a hint of the predominant brown), and it would be interesting to see what it looked like if that nearly straight line coming out from the main orb, going to the top right corner, ended up right in the corner. Just my thoughts...
