Finally something I'm actually satisfied with!
So this was, of course, designed and rendered in apophysis with post work applied in the GIMP.

You made a planet in Apophysis, that is awesome. Sure, people have done the bubble final xform cheat, but this is a legit planet, with a ring!

That is some crazy awesomeness. I like how it starts cool (Color temperature, that is : P ) at the bottom, becomes warm, then expands into coolness again. Nice echos with the circles and also the diagonals.
Not sure I like the way the little chunks in the wheel look, but they do still match the general appearance of the rest of it. I guess the only real problem with them is their squareness, opposed to the length of all the other units. I like fadey endings, though I'm not sure this really needs it.
